Guangdong GCK Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary company of GCK Auto Parts Co., Ltd. GCK Auto Parts was founded in Taiwan on 1st October 1975, specializing in manufacturing car spare parts. With 33 years′ history, GCK Auto Parts now has set up its sales network in over 80 countries throughout the world. In the United States of America, Taiwan and other countries GCK Auto Parts is the main supplier to Ford, General Motor, Chrysler and other major car manufacturing companies.

GCK Auto Parts started its production in China in the year 2003. The production facilities in China use computerized and automation systems, and the facilities also have a vehicle testing lab. With all the advanced production facilities GCK Auto Parts has been awarded TS-16949 Standard which is the higest standard in automobile industry. The China plant is the key supplier to the China car manufacturers. To name just a few they are: Ford, Jiangnan Auto, Jiangling Auto, Zhangan Auto, BYD, Geely, and Lifan.

The company is diversifying its business into yachts production. With the initial investment of USD36 million, "Guangdong GCK Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. " was founded. The first phase of the new shipyard is in Jiangmen Taishan city with a total land area of 70, 000sqm. This facility will be ready for production by October 2008.

The second phase of the shipbuilding facility is at Jiangmen Enping City Zhendu Bay with a 1.5km coastal bay and total land area of 250, 000sqm. It will be ready by 2009. GCK Shipbuilding aims to be in the forefront in China′s shipbuilding industry and to be the biggest yachts production base in East Asia.
